Tarleton museum director receives award

"STEPHENVILLE, TEXASThe American Wind Power Center in Lubbock, Texas, recently recognized T. Lindsay Baker with the Billie Wolfe Award for the preservation of wind power heritage. Baker is a professor at Tarleton State University and is also the director for Tarleton's W.K. Gordon Center for Industrial History of Texas.
The American Wind Power Center is the largest museum of wind power history in the United States. It was officially dedicated in June 1998, but was the culmination of many years of efforts on behalf of Wolfe, who was a professor at Texas Tech University in Lubbock."
